Not 17 yet? Not a problem!

Freedom2Drive offers Young Driver Training, off road, at the home of BBC's Top Gear!

It is a widely known fact that young people are more receptive to learning, and therefore learn far more quickly than adults.  Learning how to handle a car at a young age can bring many benefits, not least their own road safety and awareness. It can also potentially reduce the amount of driving instruction they will need to pass their test once they turn 17.

The Young Driver Track is a purpose built facility in Dunsfold, near Guildford in Surrey, featuring approximately three miles of quiet, private roads with specifically designed practice areas.  These include marked junctions, mini-roundabouts, dual carriageway, pedestrian crossing and separate areas for reversing and manoeuvring exercises.  It is a very safe environment and is the ideal facility for young people to learn how to drive a car without traffic pressures.

The lessons will follow the main elements of the DSA syllabus, starting with a cockpit drill and controls. We will also cover moving off and stopping safely, gear changing and clutch control, steering and road positioning, use of speed, reversing and manoeuvres, roundabouts, T junctions, and much more!

Lessons can take place at any time, seven days a week, during daylight hours, subject to availability.

We offer a two hour course, a three hour course and a four hour course for up to two people at a time.  Prices are as follows:
